A BRIEF HISTORY
Hey Hey Everyone,
So glad you could make it.
My name is Daniel Custard AKA Danilo Flan*, and I’m a multi-disciplinary Video Editor x Designer focused on the sports, fashion, film, and music industries.
I’ve been at the editing trade for over 14 years now - having built up a following on the ibSprintin Youtube channel for editing A24 meets 30 for 30 style sports productions.
Through directing and editing short films in college, I also took up writing, for which I put in enough work to be recognized at the 2016 TCU Creative Writing awards where a short script I wrote won best Drama.
Once the world turned upside down in 2020, I finally decided to learn Photoshop, which ultimately lead me down the path of design and all it entails. I use it now to make better videos, better design of course, anything that requires a visual solution. Design has been an awakening for me.
AT PRESENT AND INTO THE FUTURE
I currently work independently and in-house as a video editor and designer. I frequently collaborate with Fallback Media, a studio I've proudly been apart of since 2015. I've mostly been involved as a director and editor on our productions, but more recently shifting toward working on some of the editorial design projects.
Independently I edit music videos and promos for musicians and small business. My clients have had their videos hit 1,000 views in a weeks time. I also deign posters and promotional graphic for those same clients to expand their reach to a wider audience. When not working on client projects, I'm constantly working on my craft, creating designs, or spec video work to post to my social media channels.
